Qualification


Eliana Salvemini received a "laurea triennale" first level degree with full marks and honors in Computer Science from the University of Bari (12 October 2005). She discussed a thesis on "A platform for the design and modification of Process Models with control of correctness".

Eliana Salvemini received a "laurea Specialistica" master degree with full marks and honors in Computer Science from the University of Bari (10 October 2007). She discussed a thesis on "Analysis, Design and Development of a KDD Server: Client Side".

Academic career


From 2 January 2008: Ph. D. student in Computer Science at the Department of Computer Science, University of Bari, with Professor Donato Malerba as supervisor.

Awards and prizes


December 2007: She received the award as best young student graduated in academic year 2006-2007 in all the faculty of Science MM.FF.NN.

June 2008: "Best Student Paper Award" prize for the paper "KD-ASP A distributed collaborative data mining platform". Proceeding of the Sixteenth Italian Symposium on Advanced Database Systems (SEBD 2008), Mondello (PA).

7-11 September 2009: She attended the GII Doctoral School on Advanced Databases, held in Rende (Calabria), Italy.
