Fabio Fumarola, Ph.D., was a research assistant at the Department of Computer Science, University of Bari, Italy. He was a visiting researcher at the University of Illinois and he founded a Startup working on Data Mining on Big Data. He published more than 20 papers in refereed journals and conferences. He has served in the Program Committee of several conferences, including: ECML-PKDD, Biocomputation, DS and ISMIS. His research interests include Big Data, Web Mining and Data Stream Mining

Big Data Analytics, Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery, Data Stream Mining, Distributed Algorithms and Models, Inductive logic programming and Multi-relational Data Mining, Business Process Management and Web Service, Wireless Sensor Network.
