Maria Grazia Miccoli is a PhD student in Digital Innovation and E-Health at the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”. She graduated in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence curriculum) in July 2025, defending the thesis “Quantum Emotional Classification in Social Robotics”. Her research focuses on the development of artificial intelligence systems capable of analyzing an individual’s psycho-physical state through multimodal and multisource data collected from social robots and wearable or environmental sensors, with the goal of predicting quality-of-life indicators across different dimensions and preventing psycho-physical distress. She has collaborated on the national project QUADRI, dedicated to Quantum Social Robotics, and conducted research at the same university through a scholarship supporting the completion of her bachelor’s studies, working on AI-based systems for narrative medicine support. The supervisor of the research studies is Prof. Berardina Decarolis. The co-supervisor is Prof. Corrado Loglisci Research InterestsSocial Robotics, Quantum Computing, Quantum Social Robotics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning. |
