Gianvito Pio is an Assistant Professor at the Dept. of Computer Science, University of Bari (Italy). He has published 17 papers in journals, books and conference proceedings, including 7 papers in journals, such as BMC Bioinformatics, PloS ONE, Information Sciences, the Journal on Computing and Cultural Heritage and the International Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems. He has participated in the scientific committee of international conferences and served as a reviewer in a wide range of international conferences and journals. His interests include bioinformatics, multi-type clustering and classification on heterogeneous networks.
