Luca Lobascio is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Computer Science of University of Bari "Aldo Moro", enrolled in the Italian National Interest Doctorate Program (DIN) in Cybersecurity at IMT School Advanced Studies Lucca. He graduated in the M.Sc. in Cybersecurity at the University of Bari Aldo Moro in October 2024 with full marks and honors (110/110 cum laude), discussing a Laurea thesis concerning the use of Adversarial Machine Learning and Deep Learning for Malware Detection. Luca started the doctorate in December 2024, his research project mainly concerns the design and application of Adversarial Machine Learning techniques targeting eXplainable AI (XAI) methods in threat detection scenarios, as well as Defensive Adversarial Learning to improve models robustness to such attacks.
